Fairview Health Services Resident Assistant in Bloomington, Minnesota

Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package for RAs with excellent benefits and hourly wages ranging from $20.90 - $26 / hour. Wage determinations will be based on related experience.

We are looking for a Resident Assistant/Home Health Aide whom would provide personal cares to improve and/or maintain the senior age residents’ physical and emotional well-being for our assisted living in Bloomington, MN. NO CNA required, unless under 18 years old.

This part-time patient support position includes;

56 hours per two weeks

Day shift

Every other weekend Saturday Sunday and holiday rotation

As part of the Martin Luther Campus Senior Community, Meadow Woods Assisted Living is a residential setting by woodlands, wetlands, mall of america, and the Minnesota River Bluffs. Our 113 unit assisted, independent and memory care buildings are located in East Bloomington, MN near public transportation. Our staff encourages participation in the many regularly scheduled activities and lifelong learning programs.   • Assists residents with personal cares including but not limited to: bathing, shaving, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, and transfers/lifts.

  • Under direction of Nurse, provides health related services as needed such as; passing medication, glucose monitoring, temperatures, blood pressure, and pulse.

  • May perform duties that include: laundry, cleaning, meal service, and assisting with activities.

  • Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff.

  • Assists with onboarding of new staff.

Required Skills:

Ability to communicate effectively, with compassion and kindness for residents and coworkers while working in a team setting.

Curiosity to work with a diverse and older population.

CNA certificated if under 18.

Preferred Education/Experience/Skills:

High School diploma or GED or completion of a formal NA or HHA course.
