The Senior Manager Quality II role within the Mobile Solutions Corporate Quality organization is responsible for leading key quality projects to manage risk, develop and share best practices, and communicate globally. This role will be responsible for driving strategy and execution related to key quality initiatives. This role can be based out of our Bloomington, MN headquarters or work remotely, if located near one of our manufacturing facilities. This role is open to all Donaldson employees. Role Responsibilities: Develop subject matter expertise of products and manufacturing processes as assigned. Benchmark manufacturing capabilities, processes, and procedures in Mobile Solutions plants globally Identify risks and develop and implement strategies to mitigate risk and standardize globally, applying statistical tools and knowledge to drive best practices. Report on progress toward objectives and opportunities for improvement. Partner with manufacturing and corporate engineering teams to maintain alignment between product requirements and manufacturing requirements. Provide leadership and direction to plant quality and manufacturing teams to ensure robust, standardized manufacturing processes. Drive documentation methods to ensure sustainability of process knowledge. Support the review and resolution of non-conformance or non-compliance to standards and/or regulations as required. Serve as the primary product quality contact for assigned products globally. Lead multi-site/multi-region preventive and continuous improvement initiatives. Be visible and available to support product lifecycle activities with customers, engineering, procurement, and manufacturing. Audit quality functions for compliance with established systems and standards; recommends corrective action as necessary. TRAVEL: Up to 50% Minimum Qualifications: 6+ years of experience within the manufacturing industry, including managerial experience 3+ years of experience of Quality management experience Bachelor's degree in quality, science, engineering, or technology related field Preferred Qualifications: Working knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes & engineering Six Sigma Black Belt Demonstrated ability to be a strategic leader/thinker and planner Demonstrated structured problem-solving experience Proficient in use of automotive core quality tools (APQP, FMEA, CP, MSA, SPC, PPAP) Key words: quality manager, manufacturing, risk assessment, six sigma black belt, strategic, IATF #LI-Hybrid Employment opportunities for positions in the United States may require use of information which is subject to the export control regulations of the United States.
