Job Title: Vice President, Business Escrow Services Relationship Management Team Leader Location: Bloomington What you'll do: As the Business Escrow Services Relationship Management Team Leader, you'll be in a senior-level leadership position responsible for executing the division's strategic plan and guiding your team in administering transactions and servicing clients in its efforts to meet the Bank's annual growth and customer retention targets. You'll lead a group of relationship managers to expand our market share through training growing understanding, solid execution and relationship building which will in turn grow the portfolio and deepen the relationship with our customers. You'll be responsible for leading the growth and development of the team's general portfolio of the assigned region or business line (Business Escrow Services). While Relationship Management Team Leaders spend a significant portion of their time working their own network and top-tier customers in the portfolio, much of your time will be devoted to supporting your team. What we are looking for: Responsible for supporting the Managing Director and CEO in executing the Bank's strategic plan, with a specific focus on leading the efforts to grow the serial acquirer base for BES and increase our deposit portfolio. They are measured on their team's success in client retention, solid execution, working alongside sales to increase market penetration and market share. Executes the tactical strategy outlined by the Managing Director or CEO regarding transaction pitches and negotiation of agreements associated with transactions. Responsible for the team's success in managing portfolio health, retaining current clients, and educating new clients to increase the loyalty factor and return customer ratio within the team. Responsible for maintaining agreements (in conjunction with the legal team) to ensure current processed and procedures are properly articulated. Responsible for ensuring adherence to our agreement standards and management of exceptions and mitigating risk of any exceptions. Responsible for training the team of relationship managers on market standards, deal mechanics and specifically paying agent execution. Responsible for intra-department coordination on behalf of the relationship managers Responsible for managing relationship managers expense reporting and budgets associated with T&E. Fosters strong, healthy working relationships with leaders in partner departments (including Account Opening, KYC, FCC, Risk, Legal and other internal support departments, and third-party services), and facilitates the team's contribution to and compliance with technical processes and requirements, risk mitigation, efficiency, and customer service. Provides supervision to and directs the activities of their staff; performs supervisory tasks such as performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, and interviewing candidates for employment; develops work schedules; provides necessary training and coaching. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in finance or related field or a combination of relevant education and experience. 8 years' experience of relevant experience with at least 4 years of direct client facing experience in M&A / Escrow relationship management. Excellent oral and written communication skills, leveraged to build effective relationships within BES. Proficiency in MS office suite (Word, Excel, PPT). Proven ability to compile, organize, prepare, and maintain records, reports, and information. Demonstrate sensitivity to, and respect for, a diverse workforce. Comfortable in developing presentations and group facilitation. Sound leadership experience demonstrating success in executing on the roles and responsibilities described above.
