Summary: The Director of Infrastructure will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Americas region IT infrastructure and field support services. This includes managing networks, servers, storage systems, and other critical hardware and software components. The individual in this position ensures that the IT infrastructure is secure, reliable, and efficient, supporting the organization's operational requirements. They must possess a solid understanding of network architecture and field services responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: Ensure that all regional infrastructure projects are managed from planning thru execution. Ensure that all network services are provided seamlessly to both corporate sites and factory locations. Manage key global suppliers to deliver a range of services including network, hosting, servers, and service desk. Accountable for coordinating incident management activities across global and local. Lead the application and infrastructure teams. Work closely with the Global Infrastructure Services team to deliver services to the region. Provide input to solutions and plans being developed globally. Partner and collaborate with the Cyber Security team to prepare for and respond to potential security incidents. Architect infrastructure solutions which provide answers to challenges presented by the organization. Support site divestiture and acquisition activities as required. Manage the contract organizations providing deskside support to offices and factories in the region. Build and maintain strong relationships with key factory leaders and personnel. Provide input and participate actively as member of Americas IT management team. Provide coaching and performance management to the infrastructure team. Monitor Service Levels and generate dashboards detailing service performance. Key Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience. Minimum 15 years' experience in leading infrastructure and service teams. Experience in working for a large, global organization and a matrixed environment. Proficient in technologies, architecture, project management and disaster recovery. Strong leadership, management and communication skills. Strategic ability to align infrastructure initiatives with the company's overall business strategy. Capacity to work independently and collaboratively, showing initiative and a self-starter attitude.
