Responsibilities

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for providing basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff. This includes assisting patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), maintaining a safe and clean environment, and communicating effectively with the healthcare team. Nursing Assistants essential for our healthcare team as they monitor, and report changes in patient’s condition and communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure continuity and quality care.

As you can expect, CNAs are essential to our healthcare team and help deliver high-quality healthcare and compassionate service.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

1. Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, required.

2. Current BLS within 30 days of hire and maintain current.

3. Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.

4. Minimum six months’ previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.
