We are seeking dedicated Substitute Teachers to join our Head Start Team. As a Substitute Teacher, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity in the classroom when the regular teaching is absent. The substitute teacher in cooperation with the teacher or the assistant teacher provides a safe and developmentally appropriate environment that promotes health, nutrition, and optimal educational opportunities for participating children. The ideal applicant will have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent and valid driver's license. Previous experience working with students or children is preferred. This a substitute position that can be called to any three Mercer County Head Start locations.
