CSL Plasma Sr. Manager Global Enterprise Security in Boca Raton, Florida

The Opportunity

You will be the Plasma division's security professional providing security support for all operations, offices, laboratories, and facilities. This position, which reports to the Director of Plasma Security, will be accountable for the implementation and management of our security/risk strategies and related programs. This requires the role to oversee and deliver strategic security goals and target agreement with senior management and support employees to meet their security responsibilities.

You will have responsibility for the implementation and management of security policies, standards, assessments, roles, security training and contract security management for the U.S. and beyond. The scope of your work will involve all security technologies and services, personal protection services, physical security, workplace violence, general investigations, security related incidents, security related compliance issues, physical access control and profile management of all employees, contractors, and visitors.

The Role

  1. Strategy
  • Oversee security operations activities related to the protection of individuals, assets, and property. Must always ensure, uninterrupted security coverage at predetermined levels. Ensure security related activities are performed following budgetary and strategic plans.

  • Manage regional security policies; establishes and implement calibrated standards and controls.

  • Be a leader for related crises and incidents.

  • Implement technology solutions and security management techniques to safeguard personnel and assets, including intellectual property and trade secrets.

  • Determine operational expenses and manage forecasts.

  1. Situational Awareness
  • Develop and deliver appropriate threat and awareness training.

  • Administer and deliver trainings necessary for compliance to security requirements.

  • Briefs senior management on status of security issues.

  1. Vulnerability and Threat Assessments
  • Support periodic global security assessment plans.

  • May conduct physical security assessments.

  • Lead post incident analyses and determines necessary corrective actions.

  • Organize, conducts, and deliver written security assessment presentations and reports.

  • Share results with senior management throughout the region.

  1. Emergency management and crisis response
  • Manage response to issues involving troubling persons and situations and associated legal matters.

  • Oversee crisis and emergency management planning, training, and exercise.

  • Write and submit formal security-related documentation such as incident reports, summaries, program proposals/recommendations, and other formal written communications.

  1. Continuous Improvement
  • Manage through key performance indicators and external benchmarking.

  • Complete annual site and regional risk assessments.

  • Direct detailed recommended courses of action to improve security levels.

  • Implement approved courses of action.

  1. Investigations
  • Develop working relationships with law enforcement and other regulatory agencies.

  • Conduct investigations into security related breaches and incidents.

  1. Maintain and use a network of security experts, law enforcement and intelligence community contacts to help identify creative approaches to issues, benchmarking, metrics, and key performance indicators.

  2. Must be on call 24/7 to discuss and/or respond to anomalies, events, or emergencies.

  3. Exercise sound independent judgment while carrying out overall responsibilities and other activities as assigned.

Your Skills and Experience:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Homeland Security, Security Management, Intelligence and Policy Analysis or equivalent.

Experience:

  • 10 years' experience in law enforcement (sworn or intelligence) or military.

  • May substitute above with experience in enterprise security risk management and investigation, crisis and emergency management and site security operations.

  • Knowledge of security and crisis management in retail or public facing business.

  • 7+ years leading teams or direct people management.

  • Develop and implement operating plans and strategies that have short-to mid-term impact on our results (1-3 years)

  • Manage multiple programs and cross functional areas for the Enterprise.

Preferred:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of security operations management and best practices.

  • Understand and apply risk and security concepts.

  • Demonstrated ability in de-escalation techniques.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of workplace violence incidents and investigations.

  • Working knowledge of regulatory environments, compliance programs, analytics, intelligence, and preventative security measures.
