As the Service Technician, you will perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, repairs, and testing on Bioprocess instruments at our service center. Ensure instruments are performing to manufacturer's specifications and standard Operation Procedures following calibration.

This is an in-house service technician position in our service department in Bohemia, NY.

What you will accomplish together with us:

• You will perform calibrations and preventive maintenance, as well as repairs.
• One of your tasks will be to provide repair and service estimates.
• You will be expected to complete all related documentation for each service performed. Including SAP service reports, calibration documents, and test certification.
• Strict adherence to all site Health and Safety requirements as mandated by the customer and Sartorius.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must be able to stand or work standing up for long periods of time (8 hours).
• You will perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor that fall into the knowledge and skills requirements of the position.

What will convince us:

• You have a High School Diploma/GED or equivalency.
• You possess 2+ years' experience using test equipment, including multimeters and/or troubleshooting.
• You have Electro-mechanical experience and/or training.
• Experience with installation of software and firmware updates/testing.
• Experience with customer maintenance/best practice training.
• Must have recently worked with and can measure AC/DC voltages.
• Valid Driver's License (clear of moving violations and DUI history) and Passport (or ability to get one).

Compensation for this position will be a base salary between $26.44/hour to $40.86/hour. (Higher starting salaries may be available in other locations based on geographic differentials.)
