Consor{target="_blank"} is seeking a CAD Technician IV to join our Idaho TP&D Team to provide CAD design leadership along with daily design and drafting support for a growing practice. The position will be located in Boise, ID. The primary focus is CAD for transportation projects that include roadway, drainage, and structures elements. As a dynamic and growing engineering consulting firm, Consor is full of opportunities for career development and geographic mobility. Previous experience with ITD plan preparation is a plus. Position would also coordinate with CAD staff in our west coast offices.

Hourly Range: \$35/hr to \$45/hr

\ \ Responsibilities\ \

Develop roadway and bridge alignments, profiles, sections, details, and associated plan sheets based on general written or verbal direction from Project Managers and Design Engineers to produce quality drawings

Make drawing edits based on markups from the client or Engineering staff

Create and modify base drawings

Develop initial engineering layouts and creation of design drawings and prepare final drawings conforming to the clients CAD standards and requirements

Understand and adhere to project budgets, schedules, and quality control requirements

Be relied upon as a productive team member and CAD user to work on a typical set of project drawings from beginning to end with professional quality output that conforms to company or client standards
