Micron Technology in Boise, Idaho has several openings for Full-Stack Software Development Engineers. As a Software Development Engineer at Micron you will configure, develop, maintain and support Micron and third-party applications. You will build and analyze software specifications, and research, design, document, modify, and support software throughout the development life cycle. You can demonstrate the functional and technical skills vital to switch between development technologies and merge them to deliver the best solution. You have a proven track record to build quality software and participate in quality improvement efforts. You will provide solutions that build business value while at the same time minimizing negative impact through defects, downtime, or performance degradation.

You will be working with a team of full-stack software engineers who are responsible for developing software that helps run and optimize the Manufacturing line. This team has a specific focus on enabling the Photolithography area within the Manufacturing environment. The team applies a wide variety of technologies and interacts with team members from around the globe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will work closely with internal customers and IT teams to drive impactful change.

  • You will work in a team of highly skilled software engineers to design, engineer and implement solutions in a scalable way for a worldwide enterprise.

  • You will analyze and solve system issues to identify and implement solutions to problems identified.

  • You will collaborate closely with multi-functional teams for end-to-end testing, proactively identify new opportunities, and drive initiatives through to completion.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or equivalent.

  • Developing restful web services using NodeJS, Apache or C#

  • Object Oriented Programming preferably .NET

  • SQL and NoSQL databases

  • Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, and other Web technologies

  • Git

  • Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or other container technologies

  • Motivated to learn new skills independently

  • Creative problem solver with good problem-solving abilities

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
