Micron is seeking a Global Environmental, Waste Program Manager to join our team. Take part in our mission to revolutionize information usage and make a positive impact on people's lives. Lead ambitious waste management programs globally, ensuring high levels of efficiency and sustainability.
Responsibilities
Provide direction and education of key initiatives targeted at Waste Due Diligence programs
Support due diligence for new construction and site selection activities
Evaluate risk of new waste vendors through due diligence process and provide site support
Support waste customer requests
Research, review, and analyze policy and perform regulatory applicability evaluations
Implement management system criteria into environmental programs across the Micron network
Manage site audits to Global Waste Standards
Assure accuracy of reports and permits for compliance with country, state, and local regulations
Lead implementation and standard process sharing of waste programs
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in environmental, engineering, chemistry, or other relevant technical field related to the management of environmental issues and waste
4+ years of proven experience in the Environmental Waste space
Compliance and evaluation experience of waste programs including data analysis
Technical expertise in the area of waste management and balanced operations, in multi-national corporations
Ability to comfortably work across organizational boundaries and geographies
Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional organizations to understand needs and translate them into actionable plans, deliverables, and resource requirements
Ability to be guided by business objectives and determine the best methods for delivering results
Demonstrated proficiency in independently completing sophisticated tasks
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to adapt to a constantly evolving environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proven facilitation skills including the ability to influence others
