If you have experience as an intern or in a similar role in Category Supplier Management for Construction and Facilities Capital, you can acquire valuable knowledge in developing category strategies for managed categories. Collaborating with Global and Regional Category Managers, as well as internal collaborators and customers, will be part of your role in validating strategies. You will be supporting strategic sourcing initiatives, planning and implementing negotiations using supplier and industry analysis, benchmarking, and cost management.
Key Responsibilities:
Cost Management & Analysis
Assist in identifying and driving evaluating category-specific savings
Assisting in collecting market intelligence and category price trends to relevant internal collaborators.
Apply should-cost models for assigned categories that are benchmarked and relevant to the global marketplace.
Category Management & Strategic Sourcing
Assist in developing systems to monitor collaborator, customer, and partner happiness with key suppliers.
Assist in RFP activities (issue RFP, negotiation planning, cost and terms negotiations and award recommendation) for category.
Collaborate to evaluate supplier performance and key performance metrics.
Business Partnering
Collaborate with collaborators, customers, partners, and team members to deliver strategic projects.
Support a customer-centric approach to solving issues and advance the matter if necessary.
