Job Description

As an intern working on reliability of NAND cell at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be part of the team delivering the next-generation NAND technology meeting the highest quality standards required by customers. You will be working on state-of-the-art NAND devices and products and perform characterization of NAND cell array and electrical test structures to identify possible reliability issues. You will be part of a cross functional team to address cell deficiencies and identify failure mechanisms and risks.

Your primary responsibilities will be:

  • Contribute to the risk assessment of NAND cell reliability.

  • Design experiments to identify and segment the limiting reliability mechanisms impacting NAND quality.

  • Correlate NAND component and NAND-based solid-state drive electrical data to validate NAND quality against on-field usage applications.

Your goals will be:

  • Learn characterization techniques of NAND cell array and test structure Contribute to the risk assessment of NAND cell reliability. Learn how to model cell properties.

  • Design experiments to identify and segment the limiting reliability mechanisms impacting NAND quality.

  • Learn and apply statistics to analyze and model data.

Education Requirements:

  • Pursuing Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Computational engineering equivalent degrees.

Graduation date should not be prior to September 2024
