As a Design Verification Development Engineer, you’ll collaborate with an inventive design team, harnessing cutting-edge technologies to build advanced DRAM and Emerging memory products. You’ll grapple with the intricacies of verifying high-density memory chips with ultra-high speed, complex functionality, and advanced power management technologies. You’ll need to scrutinize Full chip or block level functionality and devise solutions to ensure the delivery of functionally accurate design. You’ll work hand in hand with Micron’s global design and verification teams, applying verification tools and techniques, and providing verification status and summaries to specific designs!

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the Design, Layout, and Optimization of Memory Circuits, including the execution of Circuit Simulations and the creation of Schematics.

  • Engage in New Circuit Conception as required and collaborate with Process Integration to establish Model Performance Targets.

  • Ensure Reliability Verification and interpret Device Specification to achieve required Functionality.

  • Oversee the Layout Process, manage Floor-Planning, Placement and Routing Optimization, and assist in Standard Cell Development.

  • Optimize Design Rules for Cost, Performance, and Functionality, define Array Blocks and Pitch Cells, and verify Word Line and Digit Line lengths.

  • Select appropriate Transistor Sizes and Types for Pitch Cells considering Vcell Margin and Performance.

  • Assist with Verification Processes, perform Silicon versus Schematic versus Layout Verification, and handle Simulation, Verilog, and Parasitic Modeling.

  • Assist with Silicon Design Validation, Reticule Experiments, and Tape-Out Revisions as necessary.

  • Maintain Technical Expertise, provide Training, prepare detailed Documentation, contribute to Global Design Forums, and participate in Continuing Education and Competitor Analysis.

  • Participate in the Recruitment and Interviewing of potential technical talent for the team.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Solid Understanding of CMOS Circuit Design and Device Physics Knowledge and experience in Finesim and/or Hspice Experience with power network analysis extensive knowledge in Verilog modeling and simulation tools

  • Solid understanding of state machine logic/design verification techniques

  • A self-motivated, phenomenal teamwork skills who enjoy working with others

  • Excellent analytical, analysis, and problem-solving skills

  • Adaptable to a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment with wide-ranging demands

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to other design and verification peers in verbal and written form

  • Experience with a scripting language (Python, Tcl, Perl, etc) Familiarity with memory design is a big plus

Education:

Bachelors or Post Graduate Degree with 2+ years experience in Electronics Engineering or related engineering field. Job title is scalable depending on your background
