As AMHS Sr. Manager at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the existing AMHS system in the current Boise Fab (Fab 4) as well as installing and sustaining the new Manufacturing Fab that is being built in Boise (ID1). Since the factories are connected via AMHS, this role will be essential to ensure efficient operation for the legacy and new system that enhances the co-location between R&D and Manufacturing.

This role will be responsible for all engineering and technicians teams running the AMHS systems in Boise. The AMHS Sr Manager will partner closely with the distributed team to establish Micron’s AMHS installation strategy based on standard processes from global installation projects. For the expansion project, this position will be accountable for project safety, budget, schedule, quality, and leading the AMHS vendor relations.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Promote a culture of health and safety by evaluating practices, procedures, and designs to ensure we are executing to required safety standards.

  • Design sophisticated automation solutions that achieve industry leading AMHS delivery time and efficiency.

  • Establish astrategythat enables successful installation of the AMHS.

  • Handle vendor relations and collaborate with procurement to achieve driven and fair pricing.

  • Establishand complete tocapital project budgets.

  • Steadfastly look for opportunities to improve equipment uptime and reliability and reduce operation expenses.

  • Plan future tooling requirements that meet efficiency requirements for established business plans.

  • Direct oversight of a technical team in excess of 40 eventual reports.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent professional experience

  • 10 Years of recent Semiconductor experience specifically focused in AMHS or equivalent Factory Automation fields

  • Proficient in English both verbal and written

  • Direct experience withMuratec, Daifuku, orAsystShinko AMHS systems

  • Direct experience withRorzeautomation systems

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Five years’ experience leading projects.

Project Management Professional PMP Certification is preferred but not required.
