Job Summary
TheSeniorMicrosoftOperationsSpecialistis responsible forensuring the satisfaction of our customers and supporting the SHI Sales teams. This position will report totheManager – Microsoft operationsand keep them up to date on activities within the department. In this job, you will work alongsideotherSpecialiststo proactively manage the MS-EMEAsharedinbox, respond to all queries and complete daily tasks and duties.This is a unique opportunityto learnquickly anddevelop thenecessaryskills and knowledge tomake a difference, whilstbuildingrelationships across the SHI business andbeing part of an amazing team.
TheSeniorMicrosoft Operations Specialist will report to the Manager – Microsoft operations andcan be based in Milton Keynes, Barnsley U.K. offices, or Nationwide from a home office. It is expected that this role may require occasional travel both nationally and internationally(25%).

Responsibilities
includes but not limited to
Lead and mentorothermembers of theMicrosoftOperations Team
Proactivelyleadcontinual improvement processes to increase efficiency within the team
Deliver updates to sales leadership aroundoperational changes to Microsoft programs asrequired
Supportwithalignment andrecognitionof incentive payments asrequired
Day to day managementof theMS-EMEAteamsharedinbox, supporting with internal and externalrequests.
Staying up to date on knowledge and processesviaMicrosoft Blogs, PartnerAnnouncementsand relevant Microsoft Community Calls
Liaising with Account Managers,Operationsand the MicrosoftTechnologySpecialist teamsboth locally and internationally
Supporting customers throughout their entire lifecycle including contracts, agreement set ups, post sales licensing and portals
Communicating withSHIAccount Managers, ensuring orders are placed correctly and on-time
Facilitating with CSP (Cloud Solution Provider) queries
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or/andequivalent work experience
Minimum3+ years in Operations focused role (ideally Microsoft)
Required Skills
Demonstrable understanding of Microsoft Licensing Tools/Systems (POET, VLC)
Strong communicationskills, both written and verbal
A passion for providing extremelyhigh levelsof customer service
An interest in technology and becoming an expert in Microsoft solutions
The ability to prioritise workloads andmaintaina high levelof attention to detail
A collaborative and ‘can-do’ attitude
Desired skills but not required :
- Fluent in Frenchboth written and verbaltoassistwith queries from our Sales Team in Paris.
