The Idaho Division of Human Resources (DHR) is seeking a Systems and Support Specialist. This announcement will be used to fill a classified position located at DHR Central Office in Boise, ID. This position will provide support for the systems and training team and will work collaboratively with the Idaho Division of Human Resources.
Summary:
To plan, develop, implement and coordinate an agency program; perform related work.
Responsibilities:
Engage in training program planning, development, and implementation
Manage statewide training calendar
Develop and deploy participant communications
Support venue setup and day-of logistics
Review ad hoc training requests and associated costs
Support the CPM training program in planning, organizing, and implementation
Update attendance, assign tasks, upload and organize information from instructors, and other related tasks in the Moodle LMS
Manage participant communication via the CPM inbox and respond to requests regarding the program from alumni, agencies, and/or the community
Send and file contracts, invoices, and instructor communication
Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems with training program registrations
Order training materials and maintain inventory records
Develop and provide training program education to employees and stakeholders including communications, resources, and marketing materials
Track participation and work with L&D Manager to prepare reports for statewide training initiatives
Compile data to assess trends and needs for each program
Act as initial contact for trainings and programs and effectively explain requirements, policies, and procedures
Scan, track and troubleshoot invoices and other fiscal matters as needed
Greet DHR customers and answer main phone line
Perform other administrative tasks as needed for DHR leadership
Minimum Qualifications:

Experience:
Developing and evaluating policies and procedures

Providing customer service
Technical writing and communication strategies
Advanced computer skills as identified by the appointing authority (such as web development, Front Page, Publisher, InDesign, Dream Weaver, etc)
Developing and evaluating policies, procedures, training and presentation materials
Reviewing documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
Using database management systems for tracking and reporting
