We have an outstanding Contract position for aSystems Adminto join a leading Company located in theBonita Springs, FLsurrounding area.

We are looking for a talented, self-starting, diligent system administrator to maintain and administer our company's networked system of computers. The system administrator's responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues, as well as ensuring that all computing operations run with optimal performance and security. To be successful as a system administrator, you should have an excellent ability to solve problems using your in-depth understanding of information systems and computing solutions. The best system administrator will also be a highly motivated, self-starting team player, willing to handle all support requests with courtesy and professionalism.

Responsibilities :

  • Support Lead Systems Administrators in their daily tasks

  • Deployment of new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operating systems

  • Implement defensive security controls for Office365, Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, internal MDM solutions, and servers

  • Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes

  • Create and maintain documentation as it relates to system configuration, mapping, processes, and service records

  • Perform server and security audits, system backup procedures, and other recovery processes in accordance with the company's disaster recovery and business continuity strategies

  • Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes

  • Perform MDM console configuration as required to support mobile devices

  • Manage MDM solutions including system architecture and development

  • Plan and coordinate upgrade and maintenance activities for the MDM environment

  • Perform required patching and vulnerability remediation on servers

  • Perform routine maintenance and prescribed maintenance functions

  • Ensure system connectivity of all servers, shared software, groupware, and other applications

  • Monitor system performance; prepare and deliver system performance statistics and reports

  • Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing the impact of issues

  • Resolve service desk incident tickets and fulfill requests

  • Demonstrates a commitment to Total Quality and the process of continuous improvement

  • Ensure compliance with approved Corporate and company IT policies

  • Perform other assigned duties as required

    Basic Hiring Criteria :

  • The Systems Administrator will have a bachelor's degree and 3 years of administration experience, an associate degree and 5 years of related experience, or 8 years of related experience

  • ITIL, recent MCSA, and other IT-related certifications are a plus

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience with domain controllers, Active Directory, group policies, and a Microsoft Windows environment required

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working in an enterprise-level company

  • Experience with Powershell scripting a plus

  • Experience with performance monitoring software

  • Experience with VMWare (Private Cloud) is a plus

  • Experience with SSO and MFA solutions is a plus

  • Experience using scripting languages to automate tasks and manipulate data; programming experience is a plus

  • Experience with Linux a plus

  • Experience with public cloud a plus

  • Experience manipulating data and creating presentation material in Microsoft Office software is a plus

  • Experience with aspects of high availability fault tolerant architectures

  • Past experience administering server-side technology and networked computing systems

  • Familiarity with SQL and database operations
