Operate liquid handlers (e.g. Tecan Fluent, Labcyte Echo, Hamilton Star, SPT Firefly) to enable high throughput activities across functions.
Perform basic scripting / method development for NGS library prep and other genomics workflows
Collaborate with biology teams to translate existing low throughput / manual processes to appropriate higher throughput automated solutions
Document requirements, development activities, and test runs with associated pilot datasets for new automation methods
Meet required deadlines and communicate in a timely and effective manner to collaborators and stakeholders
Perform maintenance and calibration of automation instruments on a routine basis
B.S. in biological or biochemical sciences (or a related field) with 2-4 years of laboratory research experience or M.S with 0-1 years of experience
Hands-on programming experience with Tecan Fluent liquid handlers
Hands-on experience with Beckman Echo + Access Station
Experience with HighRes Biosystems: Prime Liquid Handler, Solution and Cellario software
Familiarity with CRISPR-based gene editing and high-throughput screening is a plus.
Familiarity with NGS technologies / library preparation is a big plus
Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
Experience with documentation in electronic notebook software.
Position is Full Time, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Boston, MA are encouraged to apply..
