  • Maintaining complex call schedules and complying with strict duty hour regulations.

  • Maintaining the educational quality of the program to ensure compliance with ACGME accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborating with Chief residents in regards to appropriate rotations and overall schedule content to maintain ACGME requirements.

  • Responsibility for the data integrity of the scheduling program, including but not limited to creating rules, adding/monitoring assignments and updating personnel, and creating working views.

  • Responsible for maintaining parking passes and appropriately allocating on-call meal reimbursements per each resident’s schedule.

  • Creating, running and analyzing ad hoc reports as needed to maintain schedule function and accuracy.

  • Monitoring the requests of ATOs for residents prior to approval to make sure no violations of regulations will occur.

To qualify, you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent combination of experience and education.

  • Experience implementing, monitoring, and managing complex plans and schedules

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Knowledge of or ability to learn commercial scheduling software programs Med Hub; On Call, Amion, Ecotime, Lightning Bolt

  • Experience implementing, monitoring, and managing complex plans and schedules

  • Superior problem-solving skills with experience using sound judgment in responding to concerns

  • Experience prioritizing effectively and meeting deadlines within specified time constraints in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent organizational and planning skills, attention to detail, and thorough desire for continuous improvement

  • Flexible and able to adapt to new situations quickly

  • Ability to work under pressure and remain calm in stressful situations

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Organized, proactive multi-tasker and power scheduler to stay on top of schedules and projects.
