State of Massachusetts Complex Case Program Manager in Boston, Massachusetts

The Executive Office of Health and Human Services is searching for a Complex Case Program Manager. The ideal candidate thrives in a problem-solving-focused and collaborative environment. The Complex Case Program Manager will be responsible for reviewing, compiling, presenting, and following up on complex cases referred to the Inter-Agency Review Team (IRT). IRT is charged with reviewing and recommending resolution for complex cases where there is an urgent need for action to address the lack of consensus or resolution between state agencies on current service needs or placement for individuals under age 22. The Complex Case Program Manager will review relevant records for referrals before the IRT, obtain and compile documentation, present cases, and follow up on implementing decisions dictated by the IRT. _Duties and Responsibilities (these duties are a general summary and not all-inclusive):_ · Reviews relevant records and documentation for referrals, obtains additional documentation as needed, and compiles all documentation and relevant information in an organized manner for the Inter-Agency Review Team. · Manages implementation and follow-up necessary for implementing action plans and communicates with direct service providers as needed. · Presents cases before the IRT as needed and creates detailed action plans following IRT decisions. · Alert the Director of Complex Case Management of any concerns or changes to a case in a timely manner. _Preferred Qualifications:_ · Knowledge of clinical and community-based supports relevant to meeting the needs of children with complex mental, behavioral, and physical health conditions. · Capacity to work independently and manage time effectively. · Collaborative relationship builder with the ability to work on diverse teams. · Excellent organizational skills · Compile, maintain, and sort relevant documentation. · Strong communication and presentation skills _About the Executive Office of Health and Human Services:_ The Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS) oversees expenditures of over $22 billion annually. MINIMUM ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must have at least (A) four (4) years of full-time or, equivalent part-time, professional, professional internship, administrative, supervisory, or managerial experience in business administration, business management, public administration, public management, clinical administration or clinical management or (B) any equivalent combination of the required experience and substitutions below. Substitutions: I. A certificate in a relevant or related field may be substituted for one (1) year of the required experience. II. An Associate's degree in a related field may be substituted for one (1) year of the required experience. III. A Bachelor's degree in a related field may be substituted for two (2) years of the required experience. IV. A Graduate degree in a related field may be substituted for three (3) years of the required experience. V.
