CGI has a fantastic opportunity for an Expert Director in our New England business unit. This role is ideal for a self-motivated and entrepreneurial individual with business development experience in state government to become our New England Business Development Leader. You should have a deep knowledge working with the New England local government procurement processes and have trusted relationships within multiple State agencies, including EOTTS and MA HHS. You will be working to drive and grow our business. Must have experience selling to multiple Massachusetts agencies.

You should have a strong record of accomplishment of profitable growth along with account expansion and management. You will lead strong delivery SME s and will focus on growing our relationship and portfolio within New England local governments. Must be currently living in the New England area. A majority of your time will be spent in the Boston area.

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Expand our portfolio with the “The Government Agencies of NE”.

• Contribute to business strategy and budget planning.

• Develop a strong pipeline of opportunities within new and existing accounts within the New England local governments.

• Lead proposals and evolve solution offerings.

• Overall accountability for the winning of competitive proposals.

• Drive revenue and profitability.

• Bring deep knowledge and delivery capability, be integrated into the market place and be responsible for bringing solutions and thought leadership to our clients, work well in collaborative environments, be highly motivated by delivering excellent services to our clients and ensuring their satisfaction.

• Will use and leverage your experience and creativity to design, propose and execute solutions for complex client problems in advanced business and technology environments. Manage client satisfaction in partnership with account management teams.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

• Min 10+ years' experience selling IT and Consulting Services.

• Business development experience including strategic sales planning.

• Deep understanding and knowledge of the New England local governments procurement policies.

• Ability to interact with C-Level decision makers.

• Results oriented business leader with solid understanding of budgets, forecasting, planning, P&Ls, and complex pricing models.

• Be independent, self-starting, and be able to stay calm under the pressures of multiple deadlines.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, at all levels.

• Proven record of creating and maintaining business partnerships and relationships

• Experience with solution selling methodologies such as Miller Heiman and Large Account Management (LAMP) preferred.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $180,800 - $228,800.
