About the role:

Robert Half is seeking a seasoned and detail-oriented EMR and Netsmart Analyst for a client in the Boston area. This role will help enable the successful implementation of the NetSmart EMR system for their rehab facility. This role is highly critical, as we need someone with direct experience with the Netsmart/MyEvolv product and proven expertise in implementing, testing and supporting EMR systems. Experience in a similar sized healthcare organization using EMR/EHR applications is considered an asset. They are currently one-third of the way through the implementation, aiming for a Go-Live date mid-October. You will work closely with the IT team, which consists of 10 employees, on this critical project. Upon completion, the EMR system will be cloud-based, managing registration, billing, and more. The scope and build of this project are relatively small, requiring a dedicated individual to focus solely on the successful completion and launch of the EMR system and continued support after going live.

This role is based 100% onsite and will report directly to the CIO.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the installation and setup of the NetSmart EMR system for the inpatient unit

• Assist with the building, testing and support of the EMR system, with a primary focus on the MyEvolv component

• Address system issues and coordinate with IT, end users and vendors for troubleshooting

• Interact daily with various business units, generate reports, build ports and prepare documentation

• Play an active role in user training, ensuring all users are well versed with the system functionalities

• Be available on-site for any EMR-related queries

  Requirements

• Possession of a minimum of 1 year experience in the healthcare, hospitals, or social assistance industry

• Strong knowledge and experience in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) implementation and management

• Prior experience with NetSmart, specifically MyEvolv

• Proven track record in EMR implementation and support

• Expertise in troubleshooting EMR/EHR applications

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
