We are in search of an IT Service Delivery Manager to join our client's organization in Boston, Massachusetts. This role offers a contract-to-permanent employment opportunity. The successful candidate will be required to provide technical leadership, and manage a team of internal & offshore employees, as well as external clients, among other duties. This position will be Hybrid and candidate must reside in Boston, MA.

Responsibilities: • Lead in providing strategic direction and resolving issues for clients • Navigate constant task/context switching effectively • Develop business with existing and new clients while recruiting, interviewing, hiring, managing, and developing individual staff • Build and manage a team of consultants to deliver exceptional results for clients • Oversee vendor management including vendor due diligence, contracting, and performance management • Lead teams with a sound work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and exceptional client service • Structure and manage intensive workloads and work with clients at all organizational levels with a high degree of professionalism • Serve in a management and leadership role within an information technology service function • Have well-developed industry expertise in a domain of alignment • Work on tight deadlines, multi-task, and manage multiple shifting priorities • Oversee the management of and function as an escalation point for requests, incidents, and problems • Provide data and reporting of KPI’s and trends to IT department and others in ad-hoc, weekly, monthly, and as needed • Manage process for communicating outage/emergency activities to the organization • Manage vendor relationships as it depends on daily operational needs • Review survey feedback to improve services, tools, and support experience • Drive strategic assessments including vendor selections; oversee vendor work quality and productivity while managing vendor relationships and contracting • Intermediate technical knowledge and troubleshooting of computer software, hardware, printers, VOIP telephones, and laboratory systems.

Requirements • Candidate must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in an IT managerial role

• Proficiency in Cisco Technologies is essential

• Extensive knowledge and experience with Cloud Technologies is required

• Must have experience working with Databases

• Familiarity with EO/IR systems is necessary

• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is a must

• Should have a good understanding of Active Directory

• Experience with Backup Technologies is required

• Must have knowledge of Computer Hardware

• Should have experience in Configuration Management

• Experience in managing Contracts is essential
