Boston University LABORATORY SPECIALIST II, College of Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering in BOSTON, Massachusetts
This position is responsible for overseeing the administrative and operational aspects of a multi-investigator research team composed of professors, research scientists, postdocs, PhD students, Master students, and undergraduate students, totally 35 to 40 members, located at the Boston University Photonics Center. The candidate assists the PI and other investigators (e.g. research professors) towards three main goals:
Growing a renowned and internationally preeminent research program (Essential Function 1)
Ensuring efficient and effective lab operation to achieve interdisciplinary research development and ongoing performance of next-generation chemical imaging (Essential Function 2)
Fostering a diverse, equitable, inclusive, and friendly scientific research environment (Essential Function 3)
