Humana Manager, DMS Sales in Boston, Massachusetts

The Manager, DMS Sales conducts selling activities related to inbound calls inquiring about individual health plan products. The Manager, DMS Sales works within specific guidelines and procedures; applies advanced technical knowledge to solve moderately complex problems; receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines approach, resources, schedules and goals.

The DMS Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and developing a highly engaged, top- performing team of 15-25 Inside Sales Agents who sell the portfolio of products offered to prospects and members over the phone. Additional responsibilities include providing ongoing training, monitoring sales results and trends, and implementing tactical operations for projects and initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Health Insurance license in the residing state (OR the willingness AND ability to obtain within 75 days of hire date)

  • 2 years of leadership experience with direct reports

  • 3 years of sales experience

  • 2+ years call center experience

  • Must be willing to work any shift on any day during business operation hours (5am-10pm est), including nights and weekends, or any additional hours based on business needs.

  • Must be willing to travel up to 20% (within the year) for leadership/business meetings

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Honorable Military Service

  • Bilingual with the ability to speak, read, and write in both English and an additional language without limitations or assistance

Additional Information

Work-At-Home Requirements

  • At minimum, a download speed of 25 mbps and an upload speed of 10 mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested

  • Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership

  • Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.

  • Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.

  • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$62,000 - $85,300 per year

This job is eligible for a commission incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
