FirstService Residential Part-Time Security Associate in Boston, Massachusetts

Job Overview: ÂÂ

The Security AssociateÂis responsible forserving all owners, residents and employees in a courteous, professional manner and protecting the community's assets.Provide access to community for residents and visitors andoperatenumerousapplications, databases, and camera systems.Â

Schedule: Â

  • Weekends
  • 11am - 7:30pm & 10pm - 6:30am

Your Responsibilities: ÂÂ

ÂÂ

  • Provide exceptional customer service in greeting guests and residents, verifying amenity access requirements.Â

  • Patrol the residential community ensuring community safety. Check vehicles for proper credentials for those having a valid reason for being on property.ÂÂ

  • Takeappropriate actionand reportviolationsas necessary.ÂÂ

  • Review video, access computer anddata basesystems andwritereportsas necessary.Â

  • Prepare reports and documentation surrounding incidents which occur on the property and in the residential community.ÂÂ

  • Maintain confidentiality of resident and community information obtainedÂ

  • Observe and report incidents, check community buildings and amenities for security and protection of community assets, and provide other duties as directed.Â

  • Direct traffic and ensure traffic safety ismaintainedat the school bus stops and in the community area.ÂÂ

  • Comply withall safety regulationsÂ

  • Follow all policies and proceduresestablishedby associationÂÂ

  • Practice and adhere to FirstService Residential Global Service Standards.ÂÂ

  • Conduct business at all times with the highest standards of personal, professional and ethical conduct.ÂÂ

  • Perform orassistwith any operations asrequiredtomaintainworkflow and to meet schedules.ÂÂ

  • Notify supervision of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need foradditionalmaterial and supplies.ÂÂ

 Skills & Qualifications: ÂÂ

ÂÂ

  • Must be at least 18 years of ageÂ

  • Mustpossesshigh school diploma or equivalentÂ

  • Prior law enforcement or security experience preferredÂ

  • Ability to understand local,stateand federal statutes and apply as neededÂ

  • Certified or able to certify in AED, CPR and First Aid preferredÂ

  • Demonstrated customer services and computer skillsÂ

  • Exhibit good written and verbal communication skills and ability towritedetailed reportsÂ
