Position Profile

The Graphic Communications Executive is directly responsible for selling continuous feed inkjet, workflow, and marketing solutions. The Graphics Communications Executive has responsibility to sell into all graphic communications customers.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for spearheading RICOH's penetration and expansion in the key Graphic Communications Vertical (through the development of a targeted customer strategy that includes customer segmentation, customer awareness activities and establishing customer relationships.

  • Evangelize new inkjet technology

  • Consult with business owners and Sr. Executives on the advantages on new technology to gain new revenue and reduce costs

  • Develop effective ROI for the above solutions

  • Responsible for Business Development within assigned territory

  • Manages, protects and develops territory base by analyzing and developing solutions for new and existing customer business communication requirements; Delivers, installs and supports strategies, products, and equipment within assigned territory.

  • Meets or exceeds revenue target and gross profit expectations including ongoing page growth within assigned territory.

  • Prepares effective briefings and presents winning proposals, and value propositions to account assignment.

  • Takes ownership for the resolution of any ongoing workflow/technical issues with customers (inonjunction with Professional Service/Customer Service personnel).

  • Maintains records of all account activity within Ricoh provided sales database and CRM tool. Serves as first line of contact with client in the creation and maintenance of accurate paperwork on each sale.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)

  • Typically Required:

  • 4-year college degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

  • Minimum of 7 to 10 years business to business sales experience with 5 years of advanced selling high-volume printers, preferably continuous feed and inkjet

  • Deep sales experience in Graphic Communications vertical.

  • Demonstrated ability to sell in complex, consultative based engagements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Demonstrated skill in the development of new business markets and opportunities

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Graphic Communications

  • In depth knowledge of technology and selling end to end complex solutions.

  • In-depth knowledge of sales methodologies and processes in a matrix environment.

  • Strong negotiation, written and oral communication and presentation skills

  • Strong interpersonal, time management and self-motivational skills

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully work with diverse teams.

  • Ability to successfully manage order, delivery and implementation process.

  • Proficient computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).

WORKING CONDITIONS, MENTAL AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Typically works in a home office or a corporate office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation and a normal range of temperature and noise level.

  • Work has cyclical stress due to frequent goals and deadlines, and daily stress due to the responsibility associated with the incumbents' decisions, outcomes and potential outcomes.

  • Minor physical effort is required, which may involve long periods of walking, standing, bending,reaching, stretching, climbing, lifting or carrying objects that typically weight less than 10 lbs. (e.g.,paper, books, files and small parts, etc.).

  • Requires moderate dexterity; regular application of basic skills (calculator, keyboard, hand tools, etc.).

  • Requires daily customer site visits whose facilities may or may not be accessible by public transportation.
