Red Hat Senior Product Manager - Developer Offerings in Boston, Massachusetts

About the Job

Developers play an important role in the adoption of key technologies that fuel both upstream and commercial ecosystems. As an experienced Product Manager, your ability to understand and interpret the needs of various developer personas, ranging from upstream projects to internal commercial application development to commercial ISVs delivering solutions to end users in the cloud or data centers, is your path to success in this role.

What You'll Do

  • Bring your excellent communications skills, both empathetic listening and stellar presentation skills, to external and internal audiences

  • Define and drive successful offerings that are readily adopted by your target audiences

  • Communicate to internal audiences what mutual success looks like and get their buy-in

  • Define the metrics and measurements used to declare success with all stakeholders

What You'll Bring

Your experience with open source technologies, projects and products are essential for success in this role.

In addition, you will display:

  • Excellent Listening and presentation skills with your external and internal partners

  • Your ability to clearly define and execute plans that result in rapid adoption of developer offerings you drove consensus for

  • The agility needed to respond to rapidly changing market conditions while bringing your stakeholders along

  • Consensus building skills with key stakeholders on the metrics and measurements used to determine success and to report on them

The following skills are a plus:

  • Leadership roles with open source projects or products

  • Experience developing applications, including SaaS

  • Active participation in either leading or helping to drive large or complex projects

The salary range for this position is $127,890.00 - $211,180.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
