Chewy Senior Talent Management Manager in Boston, Massachusetts

Our Opportunity:

Chewy is looking for a Senior Talent Manager to join our Talent Management team as a key driver of enterprise-wide talent initiatives! This position is responsible for deploying and managing talent programs that cultivate stronger levels of Team Member engagement, cultural alignment, and performance across Chewy’s 18,000+ Team Members. The ideal candidate will be outstanding at delivering measurable results in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment, while also contributing as a thought partner to senior members of the Talent Management team. This role is based out of our Plantation, FL or Boston, MA offices.

What You'll Do:

  • Partner with leaders within Talent Management to envision, design, and deploy initiatives that strengthen the engagement and performance of Team Members enterprise-wide

  • Deliver new services and improvements to existing talent programs to better serve Team Member needs, while meeting department-wide targets

  • Be a true culture champion—continuously assessing how best to incorporate Chewy’s cultural code and the Operating Principles, into every-day practices and business activities

  • Influence leadership effectiveness across the organization by supporting programs that perpetuate simple-yet-impactful leadership standards

  • Collaborate with HR Business Partner teams and business leaders to solicit Team Member feedback to build proposals for new or revised talent programs, with impacts to Team Members enterprise wide

  • Evaluate existing engagement initiatives that are happening across single functions and provide proposals that allow for these programs to be implemented with an enterprise-wide approach

  • Analyze complex and confidential data sets to identify focus areas, draw conclusions, and propose action plan(s) to partners

What You'll Need:

  • 5+ years of experience supporting multiple enterprise programs and initiatives

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; concentration in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field preferred

  • Demonstrated experience implementing and leading talent programs of substantial scale and long-term sustainability

  • Ability to autonomously manage multiple projects, and knowing how to prioritize them effectively

  • Exceptional sense of judgement and the capacity to make effective decisions under ambiguous situations

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to connect with and influence business partners is a must, as you will be responsible for arranging and leading company-wide projects, and reporting results to senior business leaders

  • Ability to work with large amounts of data and pull analytics that tell an effective story

  • Strong customer-centric approach in project execution to provide the best possible experience to customers

  • Passion for matters that define our Employee Value Proposition and team member experience—our team embodies Chewy’s Operating Principles every day!

  • Practical training or experience in process improvement, such as lean Six Sigma

  • High level of comfort and expertise with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Position may require travel
