Sr. Learning & Development Specialist - Remote

AbouttheRole:

AsaCBRELearningandDevelopmentSr.Specialist,youwillberesponsibleforpartneringwith businessunitsorLinesof Business toidentifylearning needs and to provideappropriate solutionsby designing, developing, and rolling out a variety of high-level programs.

ThisjobisapartoftheTalent,Learning&Developmentfunctionalareawhichfocusesondeveloping,implementing,and evaluating employee development plans and programs to support organizational needs.

WhatYou’llDo:

  • Develops and updates training programs,onboarding programs,virtual and live instructor led training courses, online learning materialsincludingeLearningsand video demos. Coordinates with department for collaboration to ensure effective outcomes.

  • Consults with business units andsubject matter expertstoidentifylearning and development needs and make recommendations ofappropriate solutionsthat meet business demands.

  • Creates comprehensive evaluation and assessment tools for learning solutions todemonstrateimpact and effectiveness.

  • Managescommunicationandmarketingplansfornewcoursesandtrainingupdates.

  • Designs and supports thedelivery andfacilitationof in-person learning & development workshops across the US.

  • Assurethroughevaluations,andreports,thatallnewcontentandlearningprogramsareconsistently administered in compliance with governance guidelines.

  • Reviewtrainingmetricsandfeedbacktoevaluatelearningeffectivenessthathelpsdrivedepartmentgoals.

  • Remainup-to-dateandsavvyinlearningindustrytrends,methodologies,andbestpracticesandknowhowto put those into best practices.

  • Designslearning that reflects an understanding of the diversity of learners and learning styles.

  • Develops sound relationships with business partners, operations, managers,consultantsand trainers.

  • LeadbyexampleandmodelbehaviorsthatareconsistentwithCBRERISEvalues.

  • Impactthequalityofownworkandtheworkofothersontheteam.

  • Explaincomplexinformationtoothersinstraightforwardsituations.

  • Solicit feedback from participants, peers, andmanagerin order togrow and evolve as a L&D professional.

WhatYou’llNeed:

  • Bachelor'sDegreepreferredwith2-5yearsofrelevantexperience.Inlieuofadegree,acombinationof experience and education will be considered.

  • Experience delivering andfacilitatingtrainingin-person and/or virtually.

  • Excellent organization and project skills to coordinate program efforts.

  • Abilitytoanalyzepossiblesolutionsusingtechnicalexperiencetoapplyappropriatejudgmentandprecedents.

  • In-depthknowledgeofMicrosoftOfficeproducts.ExamplesincludeWord,Excel,Outlook,etc.

  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS), such asCornerstoneOnDemand(CSOD),andtheADDIEmethod.

  • Experiencewithutilizing multimedia authoring tools such asAdobeCaptivate, Articulate Storyline andRiseandand/or other emerging technologies to design online contentpreferred.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position is $80,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $90,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
