Robert Half Sr. Tax Associate (International High Net Worths) in Boston, Massachusetts

Description We are in search of a Senior Tax Associate specializing in international high net worth individuals to join our team in the financial services industry located in Boston, Massachusetts. The role primarily involves providing support to the Tax Department with a focus on partners and employees living and working outside of the US. The person will also be involved in assisting with global tax planning related to employer and employee tax planning and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to the Tax Department, focusing on partners and employees living and working outside of the US

• Assist with global tax planning as it relates to employer and employee tax planning and efficiency

• Coordinate with outside advisors to comprehend relevant advice and ensure smooth implementation when required

• Acquire understanding of international and cross-border tax matters

• Ensure positions and planning are in line with our Global Framework

• Work closely with internal HR, Finance, and Legal teams to understand and quantify the tax impact to firm Partners and their teams of International and Cross-border matters

• Develop and maintain efficient planning and solutions with proper documentation in line with management practices within the Partner Tax Services team

• Utilize accounting software systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for efficient tax planning and compliance

• Oversee budget processes and cash activity for tax-related matters

• Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the financial services industry

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Solutions

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Strong understanding of CapEx and budget processes

• Experience with cash activity management and auditing

• Knowledge of accounting functions and compliance requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred

• Professional certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Tax Accountant (CTA) is a plus
