Supply Chain Technical Senior – Consulting – Location OPEN

The position serves as a senior supply chain technology consultant in the Technology Solutions Delivery practice of Ernst & Young LLP. You shall be working in the supply chain domain using leading supply chain management technology products, such as Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, Logility, OM Partners, etc. You will be responsible for the design, development and deployment of technology solutions, including the integration with upstream and downstream systems, data mapping and migration. You will be working with large teams, both onshore and offshore.

Your key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with subject-matter professionals, product owners, end users and other stakeholders to facilitate, gather and understand business requirements from a data and integration perspective.

  • Design and develop integrations between supply chain packages (such as Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, etc.) and standard source enterprise resource systems like SAP and Oracle.

  • Map data between supply chain packages (such as Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, etc.) and standard source enterprise resource systems like SAP and Oracle. Develop data migration strategies and plans.

  • Translate business and functional requirements into technical designs and approaches so they meet or exceed business requirements. Seek and evaluate alternative approaches that simplify designs, minimize resource requirements and improve user experiences.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends, developments, technologies and new supply chain technology capabilities. Actively share these with team members and apply them to existing systems.

  • Model effective collaborative behaviors when working with individuals, teams, clients and technology partners. Follow agile practices and approaches, and actively contribute to agile ceremonies.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • A bachelor's degree and three or more years of related work experience in supply chain solution development, with a strong understanding of the advanced planning system (APS) data model for any one or more of the leading supply chain management technologies (such as Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, Logility, etc.).

  • Knowledge and experience in designing, developing and deploying integration solutions using tools like MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Talend, SnapLogic, etc.

  • Knowledge and experience in integration options and pre-built adapters provided by supply chain management technology platforms (such as Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, Logility, etc.).

  • Good data model knowledge of one or more platform solutions including Blue Yonder (supply chain planning and optimization for manufacturing), Kinaxis or Logility.

  • Experience integrating supply chain packages with standard enterprise resource systems (preferably SAP or Oracle).

  • Working knowledge of supply chain domains, including, but not limited to, advanced planning and scheduling, transportation management, control tower, etc.

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Able to clearly communicate with leadership and colleagues about technical capabilities, limitations, issues and recommendations.

  • Highly organized, detail oriented, independent and resourceful.

  • The ability to manage complex technical projects with diverse global stakeholders and detailed, interdependent requirements.

  • Experience with agile practices and associated tools.

  • The flexibility and willingness to travel.

Ideally, you'll also have

  • A degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Mathematics or related field (MBA or MS degree preferred).

  • Experience with development of solutions using Snowflake would be a plus.

What we offer

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $66,300 to $135,400. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $79,500 to $153,800. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
