POSITION PURPOSE: The Tool/Utility Cleaner plays a key role in ensuring that the cleanroom, controlled environment, and GMP laboratory areas are properly maintained through general cleaning and basic maintenance tasks. This role is essential in keeping the facility running smoothly and safely. SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform general cleaning and basic maintenance tasks, such as fixing minor leaks, replacing air filters and light bulbs, and ensuring common areas are clean and well-maintained to support daily operations.
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment by following safety guidelines and wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Complete assigned work orders within the allotted time.
  • Support the inspection readiness of the facility by performing regular checks and addressing any issues in the controlled environments.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Basic understanding of general maintenance tasks, such as minor plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Basic communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and solve routine problems.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting up to 45 pounds, climbing ladders, and working in various conditions (e.g., wet, noisy, outdoors).

Qualifications EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of general maintenance experience preferred but not required.
  • Willingness to learn and be trained on facility-specific procedures
