Job Title: Welder

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled welder to join our team. The welder will be responsible for positioning materials to be welded, utilizing standard fixtures, and applying hand-eye coordination to achieve the desired weld. The materials welded may include steel, stainless steel, aluminum, or various alloys. Methods may include gas welding, shielded metal arc, gas-tungsten arc, gas-metal arc, or submerged arc. The role involves working from specifications, drawings, prints, and welding symbols to produce high-quality welds.

Responsibilities

  • Run dispatch list and understand part numbers.

  • Follow work instructions, drawings, established quality standards, and safety protocols.

  • Meet defined production expectations and be on-time to schedule.

  • TIG and/or MIG weld assemblies and components as directed.

  • Perform required operator maintenance and upkeep of equipment.

  • Perform computer transactions and print travelers, as directed.

  • Meet all company work schedule and attendance expectations.

  • Perform within the physical and environmental demands of the job.

Essential Skills

  • TIG welding and/or MIG welding experience.

  • 1 year of on-the-job welding experience.

  • Basic math skills.

  • Basic computer skills.

  • Ability to count accurately.

  • Proficient in using a tape measure, gauge, and other measurement tools.

  • Ability to handle small tools and equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

  • Experience welding mild steel, ductile iron, and/or stainless steel.

  • Print reading and positioner welding experience.

  • Ability to read basic drawings and fit products as represented by drawings.

  • Intermediate level of troubleshooting and problem-solving.

  • Must pass G1 weld test.

  • Advanced blueprint reading skills.

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to read and write effectively.

  • Lift minimum weight as required.

  • Preferred qualifications include the ability to weld on a positioner/turntable, operate an overhead crane, and operate a forklift (training provided).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00

benefits start immediately including accrued PTO, paid holidays, insurance, profit sharing, quarterly bonuses

This is a fully onsite position in Bothell,WA.
