Step into Your New Role

Kleinfelders Denver, CO office is hiring an Environmental Field Scientist/Technician to join our Environmental Department. This position will primarily be utilizing gas detection instruments and EPA testing protocols to accomplish fugitive emission source inspections and equipment inventory to comply with air quality regulations at our client site located in Boulder, CO.

Requirements 0-2 years experience BS degree in environmental field or equivalent Environmental field and/or air monitoring/inspection experience Familiar with mechanical systems, chemical plants, or oil and gas processes and operations Ability to work in the field five 8 hours/days Ability to work indoors/outdoors with light lifting, stairs, ladders, elevated surfaces, manlift/boom lift operation Commitment to Health and Safety and the ability to identify and correct hazards, at-risk behavior, and near losses Effective communication of technical information with team member and clients

Preferred Requirements

Familiar with calibration and use of PID, FID, or TVA-1000 Flame Ionization Detectors Familiar with Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) compliance and program requirements Familiar with EPA Method 21 monitoring techniques Work in a fast-paced team environment and customer focused to achieve deadlines and project goals Collect, manage, and analyze environmental data and information Basic computer skills and familiar with Excel and other data entry and management systems Self-motivated and dependable

Salary range: $35,360 - $64,210
