Job Description:
Parsons is looking for a sharp Systems Engineer / Integration & Test Engineer to join our growing MTC team! In this role you will be responsible for functional and integration testing of the MTC O&I system to ensure requirements and mission objectives are met.
The US Space Force is modernizing its tactical command and control enterprise through contract award by the Missile Track Custody (MTC) program. Join our team supporting this program to deliver the next generation, multi-plane, missile track constellation capability for the DoD and its Mission Partners.
What You'll Be Doing :
Collaborate with the IV&T team to make sure mission partners requirements and objectives are being met.
Setup and coordinate system compatibility tests with the mission partners.
Develop and manage both mission specific and system specific test plans, schedules, and resources.
Coordinate with mission partners on integration and test activities.
Develop and present test findings to include recommendations for solving issues encountered during integration and test.
Ensure that applications meet customer requirements using rigorous testing and validation procedures.
In depth testing of MUS on designated framework
Testing of new and updated applications on the framework.
Participating in technical discussions to assist in planning future test efforts.
Collaborate with the team and customer to ensure Integration, Test, and Validation processes align with organizational goals as well as customer needs.
Improve overall application integration, testing and validation processes and continuously find ways to modernize and improve performance.
What Required Skills You'll Bring :
Active Secret Clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field.
6+ years of related system engineering experience.
Ability to establish and maintain a working relationship with mission partners.
Experience with system integration and test within satellite mission operations.
Experience working in a SAFe Agile development environments.
Ability to solve complex problems and work under pressure.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring :
Design and implement comprehensive test strategies for space missions using DevSecOps principles.
Ability to define, develop, maintain, and execute large scale system test plans and overarching test and evaluation strategy documents, including Test and Evaluation master Plans (TEMP), Verification Cross Reference Matrices (VCRM), and Requirements Verification Files (RVFs).
USSF FORGE MDPAF experience
Knowledge of systems engineering standards.
Ability to design and implement automated testing
Understanding and implementation experience in CI/CD pipelines.
DevSecOps automated integration knowledge.
Testing experience with on-premises, standalone platforms
Active TS/SCI Clearance.
Minimum Clearance Required to Start:
Secret

Salary Range:
$83,300.00 - $168,700.00
