ManpowerGroup Maintenance Technician in Boulder, Colorado
Temp to Hire Maintenance Technician (Manfacturing)
Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and building systems
Understanding of PLC’s ability to access programs for troubleshooting purposes
Common knowledge of hand tools and electrical testing equipment
Install, maintain, and repair electrical pumps, motors, heaters, piping systems, and water systems
Maintain detailed documentation of service ticket repair and preventive maintenance
Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance and repairs on general manufacturing equipment such as motors and rotating machinery.
Work with production personnel to troubleshoot, and understand mechanical problems
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals and parts catalogs as necessary.
Maintains building, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, and process gas systems
Continually, and informally assesses building, grounds, and machinery for functionality, professional appearance, and safety.
Support Safety Program with facilities issues
Valid driver’s license and good driving record
Work with outside suppliers and vendors as required to support all above
Assists Facilities manager with daily and special projects
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in relevant Manufacturing facility maintenance function(s)
High School diploma or equivalent required, some college or trade schools preferred
Ability to follow verbal instuctions
Personal Computer skills including proficiency with Windows, Word, and Excel
Demonstrated dependability and flexibility
Ability to work independently as well as with a team
Positive, honest, creative, and energetic attitude
Ability to handle multiple roles and support requests simultaneously with excellent follow-up
Ability to lift up to of 40 pounds
Ability to be on your feet for eight hours
Electrical experience/skills preferred
