Credentialed Veterinary Technician Supervisor Opportunity!

At VCA All Pets (Boulder) we are seeking a highly experienced Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our leadership team as Technician Supervisor.

VCA All Pets (Boulder) is conveniently located at the southern tip of Boulder right off US 36 and the Foothills Parkway with well-maintained roads in bad weather. Across the street from a new Marriot Suites and next to a 24 hour gas station convenience store/ deli. Just minutes away from downtown Boulder and the Pearl Street mall. Enjoy many culinary, craft brewery, art, music, and nightlife establishments. Across the street from the RTD Table Mesa bus station that provides frequent and express services that can have you at Union Station in 45 minutes to enjoy downtown Denver, Rockies, and Broncos games!

Enjoy breathtaking views of the Foothills right from the hospital windows! Opportunities for hiking, cycling, and open trails within walking distance of the hospital.

Looking for a self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic to lead our team in training and career progression. Schedule flexibility is a must.

We have a strong emphasis on dental health care and opportunities to work alongside a boarded veterinary dentist that is here weekly.

AAHA accredited

Current business hours 7 am-5 pm Monday through Friday, NO WEEKENDS!

Salary $26.00-$30.00 / Hour, depending on licensing and experience.

The successful candidate will be a believer in the possibilities of high-quality veterinary medicine and patient care—with the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen.

This working supervisory position is responsible for the leadership of the Veterinary Technician Staff. In addition to all Veterinary Technician responsibilities, duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Implementing department policies and procedures.

• Scheduling staff and conducting team meetings.

• Enforcing charge captures.

• Accurately handling and recording controlled drugs.

• Record keeping.

• Marketing.

• Facility maintenance.

Strong skills are required. Must be dedicated to creating a healthy work environment where all employees are elevated, empowered, and enjoy what they do.
