Western Kentucky University Part-time Office Coordinator, TRIO SSS in Bowling Green, Kentucky

Student Support Services (SSS) at WKU is a TRIO Program funded by the U.S. Department of Education. SSS provides support for college students to promote good academic standing, persistence, and graduation. SSS provides opportunities and services to help participants succeed in their postsecondary performance. This position requires focus on low-income, first-generation and/or disabled students and will assist program staff with the coordination of student services budgeting, database management, and provide general office operations and support.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • General office management: ordering, purchasing, financial management

  • Budget management and oversight of grant funds

  • Database management for tracking participant services

  • Reporting on data and program progress

  • Supervise student workers and/or graduate students

  • Assist with the coordination of student academic support services: tutoring, peer advising

  • Assist the Director with programming activities

    Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • At least 2 years of related administrative experience

  • The ability to physically lift 30 pounds

    Additional Information:

Hourly Rate: $19.62
