Robert Half CFO - Chief Financial Officer in Boynton Beach, Florida

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Chief Financial Officer in the government sector, based in Boynton Beach, Florida. The CFO will be instrumental in executing the financial strategy, managing accounting procedures, identifying investment opportunities, and developing growth plans to increase profit while reducing expenditure.

Responsibilities

• Execute the financial strategy of the organization

• Develop growth plans to increase profit and reduce expenditure

• Identify investment opportunities and manage mergers and acquisitions

• Assist in developing financial plans

• Manage the accounting procedures of the organization

• Analyze data and create models based on the analysis

• Oversee procurement processes and establish strategic partnerships

• Handle accounting and finance tasks

• Utilize skills in 3M, Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, CapEx, CRM, Accounting Functions, Auditing, Budget Processes, Capital Management, Cash Flow Analysis. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a CFO or similar leadership financial role within the government sector.

• Proficient in using 3M, Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, CapEx, and CRM.

• Strong knowledge and experience in Accounting Functions, Auditing, Budget Processes, Capital Management, and Cash Flow Analysis.

• Ability to lead financial operations, set strategic financial direction and manage budgets.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with other departments, stakeholders, and external agencies.

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and navigate sensitive financial information.

• Advanced proficiency in financial forecasting, risk management, and financial analysis.

• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to guide, mentor, and develop a team of financial professionals.

• Master's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field is preferred.

• Professional accreditation such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is advantageous.
