General Statement
The ChampChange and CatTracks Program Manager serves the Allen Yarnell Center for Student Success through operations and programmatic efforts. Overall, this position plays a pivotal role with providing means for the institution to track and intervene with students who are not presenting behavior consistent with desired academic or engagement habits that are often credited with leading to higher retention and graduation rates.
Duties and Responsibilities
In conjunction with the AYCSS Systems Management Program Manager provide operational support and management of CatTracks and ChampChange.
Develop documentation and procedural work-flow to ensure updates and testing by student developers of CatTracks/ChampChange is well recorded and up-to-date.
Oversee the schedules, projects, priorities and updates by the student staff. Liaise with the AYCSS staff when issues arise with CatTracks/ChampChange and work swiftly and accurately to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
Develop and implement CatTracks capabilities to identify, track, and manage client progress, while ensuring confidentiality within the AYCSS and the larger MSU community.
Provide support for CatTracks/ChampChange, including troubleshooting functionality.
Manage the ChampChange engagement system for all students working with multiple campus partners and technologies. This program incentivizes student participation in curricular and co-curricular campus services, activities and events. Concurrently, this allows the institution to track and intervene with students who are not presenting behavior consistent with desired academic or engagement habits that are often credited with leading to higher retention and graduation rates.
Ensure the ChampChange technologies, including QR codes and Card Readers, as well as data feeds, are working properly and the feedback loop with campus partners is continuous.
Leverage data and technology to manage programs and improve outcomes with a continuous feedback loop of assessment, reflection, adjustment, then assessment again.
Become a subject matter expert on AYCSS technology and assist with presentation, workshops, and events.
Required Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Demonstrated experience in program development, management, implementation and delivery assessment.
Demonstrated competence using personal computers and various software such as word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentation, email and internet.
Demonstrated experience of strong data analysis, problem-solving, and project management skills where data and metrics were utilized to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
Demonstrated experience bringing together stakeholders with different interests to move projects and initiatives forward.
Preferred Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills
Master’s degree.
Demonstrated experience with project management/case management/social work.
Demonstrated experience in coordinating multiple initiatives while working with various constituents bringing project to a successful completion.
Demonstrated experience with developing written content for specific audiences (donors, foundations, students, campus partners, etc.)
Demonstrated experience planning events or programs with multiple constrains and considerations that must be thought-through or planned.
Demonstrated experience communicating (oral and written) to constituents with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software preferred.
The Successful Candidate Will
This position will require scheduled evening and potential weekend hours to host events and interact with students.
