Snowflake is seeking a Director of AMS Educational Services Sales to lead and develop a team focused on driving training initiatives and bookings growth. The successful candidate will have a strong background in technology education sales and experience in managing global training programs. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage with C-level customers. The manager will collaborate closely with account teams and professional services to ensure successful training program execution and customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
  • Lead and mentor a team of Educational Services Sales professionals.
  • Develop and execute strategies to meet or exceed bookings and revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts.
  • Collaborate with professional Services and Education Consultants and customers to identify and sell custom training engagements
  • Oversee the creation and management of global training plans.
  • Provide strategic direction and support to the sales team in developing and closing opportunities.
  • Track sales pipeline and maintain booking targets.
  • Support and manage education sales team.
  • Ensure alignment with Snowflake's confidentiality and data security standards.
  • Participate in contract negotiations and manage complex sales cycles.
  • Report directly to the Global VP of Global Education Services.
QUALIFICATIONS :
  • BA/BS degree and/or 7+ years of experience in Education Sales within the technology sector.
  • Proven track record in managing and leading sales teams to success.
  • Experience with Salesforce and other sales tracking tools.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing, database systems, and virtualization.
  • Exceptional communication, project management, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% as needed.

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $173,000 - $257,200.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
