Job Summary:

Under general direction, perform a variety of material activities to ensure proper receipt, handling, storage and movement of material in support of engineering and production processes. An individual in this position will possess and demonstrate understanding of all areas required to support materials management and demonstrated knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) transactions and their effect on inventory control. Additionally, this role will provide support for shipping and receiving.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Accurate and timely receiving, stocking and kitting of materials to support manufacturing and engineering.

  • Accurate control and accounting of all materials within the manufacturing process – cycle counts, physical inventory, etc.

  • Accurately administer and track all borrowed material.

  • Accurately track and disposition scrap material or discrepant material.

  • Prepares documentation for both domestic and international shipments, including commercial invoices and air waybills.

  • Follows all import/export requirements, consulting with company import/export personnel as required.

  • Provide support for shipping and receiving.

Job Qualifications:

  • Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce

  • HS degree/GED required

  • 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing strongly preferred; experience in materials, stockroom and/or shipping/receiving preferred.

  • Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems preferred; SAP highly preferred.

  • Knowledge and experience working with Excel and basic spreadsheets.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team environment

  • Demonstrates and values accuracy, accountability and quality of work.
