In our time of Company growth, we seek a Staff Pharmacist - Float.

Location: Various MCR Health Pharmacies

The Staff Pharmacist will model the mission of MCR Health; be a person of integrity and trust and be a team player in all facets of this job. He or She will assist the pharmacy manager in motivating subordinates to execute the mission of MCR Health while abiding by the Florida Board of Pharmacy, DEA, and MCR Health rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. While on duty he/she will execute day-to-day operations, programs, and standards.

As part of this role, you will:

  • Under the direction of the Pharmacy Manager, Assistant Director of Pharmacy, and/or Sr. Director of Pharmacy, responsible for the full practice of pharmacy in accordance with applicable regulatory statues and accreditation standards; interpreting prescription orders; packaging, labeling dispensing, administering and distribution of drugs and devices while covering shifts at a particular MCRHS pharmacy site
  • The staff pharmacist will assist the pharmacy manager by successfully operating the store location as defined in Florida DPR Statute #465.018, and other requirements as defined in Statutes 465, 21s, 893, plus applicable DEA requirements
  • Deliver exceptional pharmacy patient care experience to every patient every time
  • Communicate and collaborate with the Pharmacy manager for continuous improvement and ensure completion of all delegated tasks and duties
  • Other duties or initiatives that may be assigned

What you need to bring to this role:

  • Minimum of a Bachelors or Doctor of Pharmacy degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college or university required
  • Current and valid license to practice pharmacy in the state of Florida required
  • Certified to Administer Immunizations as expressed on the Pharmacist License required
  • Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety and Health Institute Required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a pharmacist-preferred
  • Community or retail pharmacy experience- preferred
