W R CASE & SONS CUTLERY COMPAN Inspector-Packer I in Bradford, Pennsylvania

The Inspector-Packer I will be responsible for performing production work in a factory setting.  Inspect, wrap and occasionally pack knives in containers.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Employee is required to inspect, wrap and pack knives in a variety of boxes, tins, wooden boxes.  This packaging could also include additional materials such as medallions or coins.
  • Employee is required to carry trays from the storage rack to their work station.
  • Employee may be required to buff surface scratches from knives in adherence to the quality criteria.
  • Employee is required to clean work area daily at the end of the shift.
  • Employee must maintain adherence to safety initiatives while working in his or her respected area in accordance with standard operating procedure.
  • Take instructions from supervisors.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalency required.

This position will train on 1st Shift 6 a.m. - 2 p.m. and then transition to 2nd Shift 3 p.m. - 11 p.m.
