Amneal Pharmaceuticals LLC (J0P) Warehouse Lead in Branchburg, New Jersey

Job Summary
The Warehouse Lead will assist in coordinating all daily warehouse activities. This position will be responsible for assisting the Warehouse Supervisor with training, assigning, scheduling, and communicating job expectations.
Essential Functions
Assist in training and instructing co-workers in a team environment. Assign and oversee daily work assignments for warehouse personnel. Use Systems for inventory control, receiving, and end of lot adjustments. Perform transfer, shipping and receiving of components, semi-finished (bulk) and/or finished products to and from other Amneal facilities. Conduct periodic cycle counts and provide accurate data to management. Ensure that customer orders are completed accurately and in a timely fashion. Conduct investigations for shipping errors and report findings to Supervisor. Daily coordination of logistics and distribution of Amneal products. Interact with other departments to resolve any cross-functional issues. Operate and maintain all warehouse equipment. Load and unload trucks.
Ensure that all documentation of shipping, receiving, pack orders and inventory logbooks comply with GMP and DEA guidelines. Promote safety compliance, DEA and cGMP compliance to all warehouse personnel. Enforce the company policies, e.g. safety. Participate in DEA audits. Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
Conduct occasional audit in the warehouse areas to ensure that the department is always within DEA, cGMP and Safety compliance.
Lead the Warehouse group during the absence of the Warehouse Supervisor, act as department liaison during absence of Warehouse Supervisor.
Additional Responsibilities
Other duties may be assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor.
Education
HS or GED and 4 years of experience in Warehouse, Shipping and Receiving -Required
Work Experience
4 years or more experience in Warehouse, Shipping and Receiving -Required
4 years or moreWarehouse experience in Pharmaceutical Industry -Preferred
Skills and Abilities
Required to read, write and communicate in English -Intermediate
Good written and verbal communication skills -Intermediate
Computer literate. Must be familiar utilizing Microsoft Office software. -Intermediate
JDE, SAP or other ERP systems experience -Intermediate
Good written and verbal communication skills -Intermediate
Must have basic mathematical skills -Beginner
Specialized Knowledge
Warehouse operations and powered equipment experience required.
Knowledge of Pallet movers required.
Familiarity with regulatory and internal audits preferred.
Licenses and Certifications
Forklift Certified -Preferred
