This Position is for a Universal Banker I with a bank location in Brandon, MS.

Duties and Responsibilities include: Ensure the customer's needs are achieved by evaluating and recommending the most appropriate financial products and services to fulfill the customer's financial needs; Acting as concierge for the branch requires strong listening skills, excellent customer service, an outgoing personality, and an individual that is sales and service focused; Must be an expert in loan, deposit, and cash management products; Sell and cross-sell Bank products to new and established customers by assessing the customer's needs and being knowledgeable of the features and benefits of the products; Assist and educate customers on the use of the ITM to handle daily transactions; Assist the customer with issuing teller/official checks, processing collection items, or other transactions not processed using the ITM; Open various deposit accounts; Responsible for interviewing loan applicants and ensuring the completion of loan applications; Maintain a thorough knowledge of Bank products, services, policies, procedures and appropriate regulatory issues as related to daily job functions including but not limited to: Bank Secrecy Act; Privacy Act; Fair Lending Act; Regulation E, etc.; Complete required compliance training and adhere to the Bank's standard of conduct; Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications include: Requires a Bachelor's Degree and/or Two years similar experience in a professional environment in customer service, sales, and cash handling the majority of the day will require standing; Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; Knowledge of proper English and punctuation is necessary; Must possess basic PC skills and have knowledge of all Microsoft office products; Must pass a background check to include pre-employment substance abuse testing.
