Shift: Monday-Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

We are seeking a skilled and reliable maintenance worker to join the Turtle Creek Apartments team! A successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, conducting repairs, and ensuring the overall upkeep of our facilities. The ideal candidate should be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
• Inspect and diagnose issues in buildings and equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to avoid costly repairs and reduce downtime.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Maintain and repair specialized equipment and machinery.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory.
• Collaborate with other staff to address maintenance needs.
• Operate and maintain a variety of hand and power tools.
• Assist in the planning and execution of maintenance projects.
• Power wash buildings and stairs.
• Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the pool, including regular cleaning, chemical testing, and balancing.
• Regularly inspect grounds and perform general upkeep.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Three or more years of proven experience as a maintenance worker or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
• Ability to use common tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and wrenches.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
