Supervision and Delegation
Clearly communicate assignments to support staff, consultants, and vendors.
Delegate tasks respectfully.
Monitor and report employee performance daily.
Technical Responsibilities
Coordinate with government agencies and resolve plan check and approval issues.
Review documents for quality, coordination, and compliance.
Ensure client standards and protocols are followed.
Guide project team and consultants on materials and systems.
Review documents for code compliance and provide interpretations.
Review and approve changes with the project design team and client.
Supervise and resolve issues in construction document preparation.
Demonstrate capabilities as a Construction Administrator.
Ensure completeness of specifications.
Review cost estimates and conduct value analysis.
Provide training and mentoring for all technical aspects.
Oversee and resolve issues during the construction phase.
Summary
The Senior Project Engineer will plan, coordinate, and administer major projects through all phases. They will direct assigned staff, resolve structural engineering problems, and maintain budgets and schedules. They will be the primary client contact and oversee multiple project teams.
